Richard Green – Managing Director and explosives engineer

Richard started IndEx to provide a professional, reliable and cost effective  service to the demolition industry. He left the army in 1993 as a commissioned officer after 25 years of working with explosives to pursue a career within the civilian explosive demolition industry, joining a leading UK explosives demolition company as Senior explosives engineer and project manager.

During his 16 years with the company he  planned and supervised numerous explosive demolition projects  across the world including India, Asia, Scandinavia, Mainland Europe, North Africa, The Middle East and the UK.

His main responsibilities included the development of method statements, collapse mechanisms and risk assessments, planning and coordination of projects, establishment of exclusion zones, research and development of explosive demolition techniques and  methodology.
